Community Groups
Community Groups gather for fellowship, prayer, and to study God’s Word.
They are a place where we have both the blessing and responsibility to be reflectors of mercy because we are recipients of mercy so that:
God is glorified • Disciples are made • Community is created
Works of service are accomplished • A mindset of mission is fostered
In our groups we’re committed to:
- Love one another – John 13:34-25
- Speak the truth to one another – Eph. 4:15
- Show hospitality to one another – 1 Pet. 4:9-10
- Serve one another – Gal. 5:13
- Carry one another’s burdens – Gal. 6:2
- Encourage each other – 1 Thess. 4:18
- Build one another up – 1 Thess. 5:11
- Spur one another on to love and good deeds – Heb. 10:24
- Teach one another – Col. 3:16
The book of Acts says the believers “were of one heart and soul” and describes them as “day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their home” (Acts 2:46; 4:32).
