SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Special Needs Ministry of Mercy Presbyterian Church is foremost to bring the restorative power of Christ and his gospel through the ministry of his people to those touched by disability, that all may be gathered to him. Second, we desire to equip those touched by disability to be active members of the congregation, by involving them in the life and ministry of the church.

Special Needs Ministry is simply our church’s effort to acknowledge that barriers to the gospel—in word and deed—often exist within the church, and to act intentionally to remove those barriers, while gathering and equipping those with disabilities as servants of Christ. (from Engaging Disability with the Gospel)

SPECIAL NEEDS PRAYER

Special Needs Prayer is held the third Sunday each month at 8:30am in Multipurpose Room C (end of hall, past the restrooms). Any and all are welcome to join us as we pray together and lift up those in our congregation touched by disability. Questions? Contact Susan Deneen (view in directory).
