Day of Prayer and Fasting

The Presbyterian Church in America has called for a day of prayer and fasting leading up to the November 3rd elections across the United States.  The Elders of Mercy have chosen the date of November 2nd to pray and fast together.  In addition, the Presbytery of the Blue Ridge has encouraged all congregants to vote “no” on Virginia Constitutional Amendments #1 and #2, which directly contradict the teaching of Scripture and the created order of our Lord.  Please take seriously your civil responsibilities as Christian citizens of this state and country.
